Plant Care
How long should I keep my trees staked?
New trees are staked in place to give the roots a better chance to establish themselves. At least one growing season is the rule of thumb for most new trees. However, the size of the tree and susceptibility to high winds are also indicative of the length of time it should remain staked. Please call one of our project managers for more details.
When do my plants need to be pruned?
Generally speaking, most pruning is done in the fall after leaves have dropped, or early spring, before any new growth occurs. However, pruning methods differ for each plant.
