What is the best deer repellant?
There are many methods for ridding your garden or shrub beds of deer.  Garden centers have entire shelves of remedies, all of which probably work, but persistence is the key.  Consistent applications are vital to any spray or powder method.  Motion sensing sprinklers work well, but may be an eyesore.
What plants are "deer proof"?
Very few plants are "deer proof".  Barberry, Potentilla, Russian Sage, are a few showier species that tend to be passed over by deer.  Ornamental grasses are a safe bet as well.  Please understand that a starving animal will eat just about anything to survive.
